The CDS Exam (Combined Defense Service Examination) is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service (UPSC) for recruitment in Indian Air Force Academy(IAF), Indian Navy Academy(INA), Indian Military Academy(IMA) and Officer Training Academy(OTA). CDS exam is conducted in two phase. CDS-1 Exam is going to be held in the month of February whereas CDS-2 will be taken place in a month in November. Eligibility Criteria for CDS Exam 2020
Candidates must satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria before applying CDS 2020 exam. The important CDS Exam 2020 Eligibility conditions are as follows:
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian National.
Marital status: candidate should not be married.
CDS 2020 Age limit: For INA, IMA, AFA courses the age of candidates should lie b/w 20 to 24 years and for Officers’ Training Academy the age limit is 25 years.

Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit as per the prescribed criteria of Combined Defense Services Examination.
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification is varied for different courses. Aspirants, who possess a degree in Engineering with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level from recognized university/ institutions, will be eligible to apply CDS Exam 2020.
CDS Exam 2020 Application Form: How to Apply
UPSC will be made the CDS 1 & CDS 2 Application Form available for the aspirants on 8th November 2017 and 8th August 2020.
The Application Form will be available in two parts i.e. part I and part 2.
Candidates can apply online only by visiting the official website of conducting authority i.e. upsc.gov.in
No Application Form will be accepted by UPSC in any other mode except online.
Candidates are needed to pay Rs 200/ (General/OBC Candidates) as necessary CDS 2020 Application Fees either through Debit/Credit card, net banking or via Cash mode.

Agartala, Gangtok, Panaji (Goa), Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Patna, Aizawl, Imphal, Port Blair, Allahabad, Itanagar, Raipur, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ranchi, Bareilly, Jammu, Sambalpur, Bhopal, Jorhat, Shillong, Chandigarh, Kochi, Shimla, Chennai, Kohima, Srinagar, Cuttack, Kohima, Srinagar, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Dehradun, Lucknow, Delhi, Madurai, Tirupati, Dharwar, Mumbai, Udaipur, Dispur, Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam are examination center for CDS exam 2020. Distribution of examination centers will be done on the basis of the first-apply-first-serve basis. Therefore, candidates are recommended to apply on an early basis so that they could get an examination center of their choice.
Candidates should note that there would be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centers except Chennai, Delhi, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur
