Testing Blue Whale game Skilledguru created a fake account on the game to understand & generate a warning. Below is a summary of how it worked. Created a fake account as a teen of 14 years on an empty new device so that it carries no information. Downloaded the blue whale game.The game asks permission to access contacts & media. Tripple warning displayed “Are you sure, once started you can’t step back”. As we clicked “yes” the third time the blue whale game took us to a chat room where we had a chat with the whale. On asking what if I want to quit in between “ There is only one reply “you can not if you do they will come after you”. On asking further information there is only one message “Sleep, Your challenge starts tomorrow morning”

The first challenge received next morning is “Pierce a needle in your cheek & send picture”. We denied & did not respond for 3 days. Next message “ A penalty has been added to your account. You can not quit”. A video as sent & asked to watch at morning 4:20 am. It was a gruesome video with scary, irritating elements. The video self-deleted after half an hour. We did not watch the complete video & the link was then blocked. No, follow up since then. We quit the game.
